The Mission Statement of the Preble County Board of MR/DD

The mission fo the Preble County Board of MRDD is to support individuals with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities to live, learn, work and socialize as they choose through:
  • Developing a person-centered planning approach, which honors self-determination, a person's choices, preferences, needs and responsibilies.
  • Implementing the individual's plan so that the person enjoys a sense of contribution, value, and self-worth.
  • Increased community partnership through information, education, and participation.
  • Individual control of the resources used and the decisions made in the provision of supports and services.
  • Supporting a quality of life and sense of belonging by choosing how individuals want to participate in the community and whom they want to support them.

The Vision Statement of the Preble County Board of MR/DD

The vision of the Preble County Board of MR/DD is to provide the best possible oppurtunity for individuals with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities to have the kind of life he or she chooses.

 

L&M Products, Inc. Mission Statement

L&M Products, Inc. is committed to promoting the rights and capabilities of Preble County citizens with mental retardation and developmental disabilities as well as enriching their lives through a wide range of programs and services.   Our goal is for each individual to have the opportunity to maximize their potential, to acquire vocational and daily living skills needed to live and work as independently as possible, and to be integrated into employment, residential, and social/recreational community environments of their choice.
