OACBMRDD Director John Martin visits L&M Products, Inc. and the Preble County Board of MRDD on March 25, 2008.

Ohio Department of MR/DD Director John Martin and Legislative Liaison Mark Seifarth were guests of the Preble County Board of MR/DD and L&M Products, Inc. on March 25. Director Martin and Mr. Seifarth met with staff, board members and individuals who attend L&M Products, the adult services division of the PCBMRDD. Pictured above is Director Martin meeting with several individuals who are enjoying a book prior to going home for the day. Director Martin said he was very impressed with the many programs and employment opportunities the individuals have to choose from at the PCBMRDD. Director Martin’s visit, along with Seifarth, were held during MR/DD month in March. The theme for this year’s campaign is “Success ─ when doors open we succeed!” “Success!” encourages people to bring diversity to their communities by welcoming people with disabilities into local neighborhoods, workplaces, houses of worship and schools.
